Before
Context
Puzzles Inclusive Ed, a neurodiversity-affirming children’s education center with two locations in New York City, was running on a billing and operations setup that wasn’t keeping up with how the business actually worked. Their billing system was disconnected from their scheduling and enrollment workflows, creating manual overhead and friction for both staff and families. The site didn’t reflect the warmth and credibility of the actual organization, and the technical infrastructure underneath wasn’t built to scale with a growing two-location operation.
What I Did
The Work
I came in through Ignite Studios as a technical consultant and systems strategist. The core work was a billing system overhaul integrated with a live API connection to Jack Rabbit, the platform Puzzles uses for class scheduling and enrollment. Getting those systems talking to each other correctly required careful API integration work and testing across real operational data. Alongside that I rebuilt the site to better represent the organization — its voice, its values, and its audience of parents navigating neurodiversity support for their children. I also handled client communications throughout, managing expectations and translating technical complexity into decisions the Puzzles team could act on confidently.

Results & Outcomes
The billing and scheduling systems are now integrated and operational, reducing the manual work required to keep enrollment and payments in sync. The rebuilt site reflects the organization more accurately and serves the families who find it. Puzzles came out of the engagement with infrastructure that actually fits how a two-location education center runs.
